HPD investigating theft of computer from Walmart

Henderson Police say they'd like to know who walked into Walmart late Tuesday night and stole an HP Touchscreen computer.

All they know now is that it was a white man believed to be in his early 20's, wearing a white shirt and dark shorts who left the scene in a white vehicle with Indiana plates.

It happened a little after 11 p.m. at the store on Barrett Boulevard.

Henderson man says he was rushed, robbed outside McDonald's

Henderson Police are looking for a man who attacked another man and stole money from him outside the McDonald's on South Green Street.

Police say a 23-year-old Henderson man told them he was in the parking lot of the restaurant when a black male, 5'11 and 150 pounds with a tattoo on his neck rushed him and began going through his pockets.  

After taking $50 from him, the suspect took of in a late model gold Cadillac.  

The victim told police the robbery suspect didn't say anything or display a weapon of any kind.

Henderson Police are investigating the theft of hundreds of dollars worth of tools from a a vehicle overnight.

A man reported parking his Silver 2000 Chevy Trailblazer at the river campgrounds on Green River Road Monday night. When he arrived back on site Tuesday morning, he found a back window of the SUV broken and discovered $750 worth of tools had been stolen.

There are no suspects as of now but if you have information regarding the theft, you're asked to call HPD at (270) 826-2713.

HENDERSON, KY (WFIE)- Carolyn Boster said a loud noise woke her up in the middle of the night and by the time she got up and out of bed, the intruder had already run through the house and out the back door.

But Carolyn said this isn't the first time she's had unwanted thieves.

Henderson man back in jail for dealing meth

A 50-year-old Henderson man has been arrested for trafficking in meth and police say it's not the first time.

Jamey Mclevain was stopped at the intersection of Larue and Kimsey Lane just after 1 a.m. last Thursday.  Officers say he tried to discard a quantity of meth during the stop.

He has a prior conviction and was booked in the Henderson County Detention Center facing Class B felony drug charges as well as tampering with physical evidence.

Henderson Police are investigating the theft of firearms and a lock box from a home in the 500 block of Harding Street.

The resident told officers about the theft Wednesday afternoon.  No word on an exact value of the property but it is listed at more than $500.

Henderson teen assaulted, robbed

Henderson Police are investigating an assault and robbery that took place Sunday night.

Police say the 18-year-old male victim told them he was walking near Gree Rriver Road and Sinclair Drive when a tall, younger black man wearing a black hoodie, black tennis shoes and a silver 'dog chain' type necklace assaulted him and demanded his shoes, belt and money.

The suspect took off toward Bend Gate Road.
