HPD: Man who left accident scene found with meth
A 48-year-old Henderson man who police say left the scene of an auto accident Saturday afternoon was located at a home on Burdette Street where police say they found meth.
The accident happened just before 4 p.m. Police say Ronald C. Simmonds took off after the mishap but police caught up to him later where he was arrested for DUI, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
He's in the Henderson County Detention Center.
