GRADD Arts & Crafts Fest this weekend | Events
An autumn Tri-State tradition returns the weekend of October 6 and 7 at Henderson’s John James Audubon State Park.
The 40th Annual GRADD Arts & Crafts Festival will feature approximately 100 artisan and craftsman booths with handcrafted items, artist demonstrations, delicious food, live music, hayrides and children’s activities.
“This event showcases some of our region’s most talented individuals,” said festival coordinator Beth Goetz. “We invite everyone to come enjoy a weekend of family fun in one of Kentucky’s most scenic venues.”
Heath Eric & Molly G. will provide musical entertainment, along with Brad Snapp & Jarred Green.
GRADD’s Autumn Playland for children will feature inflatables, face painting, pumpkin decorating and the unique creations of Daniel Herron, The Balloon Guy.
Culinary delights will include barbecue, kettle corn, homemade fudge, walking tacos, jumbo turkey legs and lemon shake-ups. Plus, there will be a bean soup “throw down” between area restaurants on Saturday.
The event runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a $4 parking fee.
