Open house at Methodist Hospital as renovations continue | Events

Methodist Hospital will hold an open house and tour of the patient suites on the Third Floor of the Medical Unit on Thursday, January 17 from 12 p.m. to 1:00 p.m..  The Henderson – Henderson County Chamber of Commerce and Methodist Hospital will host a ribbon cutting at 12:15 p.m.

The focus of the design of this unit has been patient centered, providing for the needs of the patients and their family.  The newly renovated medical floor includes all private patient suites with in-room showers and restrooms.  Each suite has also been designed to accommodate family members with a convertible sleeper sofa.  In addition, the unit includes specially designed handicapped accessible and bariatric patient suites with private restrooms and showers.  

The opening of this newly renovated unit moves the hospital closer to the overall goal of completely replacing, upgrading and renovating Methodist Hospital on its present campus.
