Motorcycle crash sends rider to hospital | News
A motorcycle rider without a helmet slid down Airline Road after he was thrown from his bike late Tuesday night.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says William E. Deno was heading north on his 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R when he went off the right side of the road. Deputies say he overcorrected and came back onto the roadway. The bike then went onto its side, throwing him off.
Deo and the motorcycle slid north across both lanes of traffic before both came to rest in the ditch on the left side of the road. He was taken to St. Mary's by private vehicle for what the sheriff's office says were "numerous wounds".
