EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)-
There is a 14 News update to the stabbing we told you about on Tuesday night on Evansville's south east side.
Evansville Police are still searching for the suspect, 38-year-old Richard Allen Fulkerson II. He's accused of stabbing 33-year-old Samantha Phillips Fulkerson in the neck several times.
Police say hey found his truck near a Henderson motel, but are still looking for Fulkerson.
Police say just before 10 p.m. Tuesday night, they were called to a house on South Weinbach, where they say Samantha ran after being stabbed several times. The EPD says she was treated at a local hospital for stab wounds to her torso and neck. She is going to be okay.
Police say this isn't the first time Fulkerson been in trouble with the law.
EPD PIO Sgt. Jason Cullum says, "She was stabbed with two knives."
Fulkerson's mother Rhonda McGill says, "I don't think he did this, he's just depressed."
Police reports show the stabbing happened after an argument at the Fulkersons' home on Culverson where officers found quote, "Bloody carpet and broken furniture."
The EPD says Fulkerson was arrested in December for domestic violence and is currently out on bond. Police say his wife has a no-contact order against him, and he wasn't supposed to be in the home. Fulkerson is charged with aggravated battery and invasion of privacy.
The EVSC says Fulkerson is a custodian, but has been suspended since December.
Police say Fulkerson is 5'10, 140 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. If you have any information about where he may be, contact Evansville Police.
