Pennyrile Parkway lane restriction near Henderson-Webster Co. line | News

HENDERSON/WEBSTER CO. (WFIE)- An electric utility contractor crew has placed a daytime traffic restriction on the Breathitt-Pennyrile Parkway at the Henderson-Webster County Line.

This daytime lane restriction for both northbound and southbound traffic is to allow an overhead power line to be placed across the Parkway.  The lane restriction is expected to be in place from approximately 8:00 a.m., CST, to approximately 3:00 p.m., through Saturday.

This work zone is near the 64 mile marker, about a mile north of Sebree Exit 63.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone.  Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and utility personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
