HPD searching for hit and run driver in chain reaction wreck

Henderson Police say someone driving a black Chevrolet Impala with temporary Indiana tags cause a three vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon, then sped away from the scene.

It happened a little after 1:30 at the intersection of Barrett Blvd. and US 60 near the entrance to Walmart.

Police say drivers of the other two vehicles told them the suspect hit a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Gary Cunningham and the impact sent Cunningham's vehicle into one driven by 18-year-old Brittany Butler of Henderson.

She was taken to Methodist Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to call HPD at (270) 831-1295.
