Henderson school to reopen after asbestos scare
HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE)- The Henderson County School System says South Heights Elementary School will reopen on Monday.
That follows an asbestos scare that was announced on Thursday and forced the school to shut down on Friday.
School officials tell 14 News that air samples were taken and no fibers were detected, allowing students and teachers to return to class Monday morning.
