Henderson man hit by SUV while crossing street
HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE)- Henderson Police say a man is in the hospital after being hit by a SUV.
Police say 63-year-old Maria Perez was heading southbound, in the right lane of the 400 block on S. Green Street in a 2010 Mercury Mountainer when 22-year-old Shawn Rincon attempted to run across S. Green Street to the Family Dollar.
Police say Rincon ran into the path of Perez's vehicle with her being unable to stop. Perez's vehicle struck Rincon and knocked him to the ground.
Authorities say Rincon was transported, by ambulance to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
No word on his condition.
