Expect one lane traffic on Twin Bridges in next couple of days | News

HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says they plan to restrict traffic to one lane on the US 41 Twin Bridges between Henderson and Evansville on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, southbound traffic will be restricted to one lane from around 8:30 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m. to allow railing repairs along the bridge deck.
On Wednesday, northbound traffic will be restriction to one lane from around 8:30 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m. for the same repairs to be completed.
Motorists should be prepared to encounter slowing and merging traffic on the bridge approaches. Traffic flow in this work zone may be altered during the day to facilitate the repairs.
Motorists should also be alert for personnel cleaning the bridge deck and performing other maintenance activities along this work zone.
Caution is required where equipment and personnel are on the bridge deck in close proximity to traffic flow. For their own safety and the safety of workers, motorists are advised to avoid talking on their cell phones in this work zone.
In case of rain or snow on Wednesday, work on the northbound bridge will move to Thursday.
