Police: Pellet gun taken to Tri-State elementary school
HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE)- Henderson Police are investigating a report of a gun taken to Bend Gate Elementary by a student.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers received reports from a student's parent that their child had been shown a weapon while at school.
Officers went to the home of the juvenile suspect and say they found that the child had taken a pellet gun to school. The pellet gun was recovered and was taken by police.
The investigation is still open and, police say, due to the ages of those involved, no further information will be released at this time.
