Two senior citizens hurt in separate Henderson wrecks | News
Two area seniors were hurt in separate traffic accidents within a few hundred yards of each other on U.S. 41 in Henderson Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the first happened about 4:15 on U.S. 41 North at Racetrack Road. Investigating officers say 73-year-old Mary Shoulders turned onto 41 North into the path of a commercial vehicle being driven by 53-year-old Claude Williams Jr. of Henderson.
She was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville for treatment of unknown injuries.
About 30 minutes later, police say 68-year-old Roseanne Hudson of Evansville was traveling in the turn lane of 41 North when she struck another vehicle driven by Tracey Schnarr Richmond of Henderson.
Hudson was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
