Clevenger resigning as HCHS coach | Sports & Recreation

Henderson County High School Head Football Coach Clay Clevenger has resigned to accept the position of Head Football Coach at Danville High School in Danville, Kentucky.

Clevenger has coached the Colonels since 2007 and leaves with an overall record of 45-27. During his tenure, the team was District Champion in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 and Regional Runner-Up in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Henderson County’s search for a replacement has begun.  The deadline to apply is March 1, 2013. A letter of interest and resume is required.
